TechAlert™ 20
Wear Debris Detection Sensor

• On-Line, Real Time
• Ferrous Metallic Debris Detection
• Sensitive to all Ferrous Debris
• Rugged Design IP66 Rated
• Low cost – High ROI

The TechAlert 20 is an on-line magnetic sensor designed to measure the amount of ferrous wear debris in circulating oil lubrication systems. This sensor generates an output that is proportional to the amount of debris captured. When this output reaches a preset time limit or the head is saturated a flush cycle is activated, enabling the flow to clear the captured debris. A non-magnetic barrier between the fluid and the magnetic element maintains flow integrity at all times. Monitoring the time between flushes and the rate of debris generation provides an accurate picture of the condition of the system.

By creating a unique signature of the process equipment the TechAlert 20 will give the user early indications of component wear, giving time for pro active maintenance, reducing the risk of catastrophic failure, saving time and money as well as helping to effectively manage a valuable asset.

• Time between flushes is monitored to give an accurate indication of the rate of debris generation.
• Accurate trending of data shows condition of machinery based on bulk load of ferrous debris in lubricant valuable asset.  A prime example of this can be found in our Airtricity Case Study.
